"Big" won out over "Little" in a girls soccer regional game Wednesday night at Goshen High School.
Penn tallied three goals in the span of eight second-half minutes on the way to a 5-0 victory over the Bethany Christian Bruins.

Saturday provided a venue for just about everybody -- big or small -- at the Wayne County Public Library with a Touch-A-Truck exhibit in the parking lot and the first-ever Wayne County parent open house.
Under a gray and cloudy sky families started the day outside checking out everything from a milk truck to a firetruck to a police cruiser as part of the exhibit.
Kelly Snyder, children's librarian and the organizer of the exhibit, said Saturday was a good turnout for a first try.

The Roncalli High School marching band is already in step, and with several performances just around the corner, the band is looking to pick up where last season left off, band director Kim Carda said.
"This year's group is enthusiastic, and they've all progressed since we started late August," said Carda, who has been at Roncalli since 1997.
The Cavaliers' marching band features 83 members from grades seven through 12, including 11 flag members and a drum major.

Local residents will get the chance to learn a little more about the nine candidates vying for five Bay City Commission seats.
The South End Citizens District Council is hosting a candidates forum at 7 p.m.
Thursday at the Bay County Child & Senior Citizens Center, 1001 Marsac St.
CDC Chairman Thomas Baird said he expects all the candidates for the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 7th and 9th wards to be present.
